Job Description:

We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on concept-to-final design projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical design, power transmission systems, and product development, along with expertise in CAD tools, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical designs from concept creation to final design release.
• Work on mechanical control systems and integrate them into product designs.
• Perform 3D modelling, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), FEA (Finite Element
  Analysis), simulations using SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools.
• Define and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the design
  process.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and select appropriate standard
  parts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and
  manufacturability.
• Work with 3D printing, tooling, machining processes, and prototyping to develop
  and test designs.
• Perform reverse engineering and 3D scanning using tools such as Geomagic
  DesignX.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, product development processes, and
  manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools.
• Experience with motion analysis, simulation, and FEA is a plus.
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and techniques is preferred.

The candidate should have a strong background in PCB layout, design principles, and electronic component selection. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure the successful development and production of high-quality PCBs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality PCBs using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
• Collaborate with engineers to understand circuit requirements and create schematic designs.
• Perform PCB layout, including component placement, routing, and optimization for signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
• Select appropriate electronic components and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Generate and maintain detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Gerber files, and assembly drawings.

• Proven experience minimum 1 year in PCB design and layout, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit design, and signal integrity principles.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to PCB design and manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
